President Reading announced the receipt of an application for membership
from The Photogrammetric Society of Israel and a request for resumption of
activities from the Photogrammetric Society of Yugoslavia. Both applications
were approved.
The question of dual representation from one country having more than
one society interested in photogrammetry and the manner of payment of dues,
though receiving much discussion, was not resolved but referred to the next
Congress for decision. Meanwhile the representation for each nation should be
decided by each country for itself, as it is not the direct concern of the Inter
national Society.
The following memorandum received unanimous approval:
“Mr. Virgil Kauffman, having indicated to the International Society of
Photogrammetry his wish to provide for the establishment of a trust fund as
a memoral to Mr. Brock, for the provision of gold medals to be presented
