Germany:
LACMANN: »Die Photogrammetrie in ihrer Anwendung auf nicht-topographischen
Gebieten». Leipzig 1950.
Sweden:
Special literature besides the ordinary compendia, used in the instruction,
and the publications concerning the experiments performed, does not yet
exist. A textbook on photogrammetry, containing also special photogram-
metry is being printed.
Switzerland:
HAGEN, T.: Wissenschaftliche Luftbild-Interpretation. Verlag Leemann, Zürich 1950.
HELBLING, R.: Photogeologische Studien. Orell Füssli Verlag, Zürich 1948.
ZELLER, M.: Lehrbuch der Photogrammetrie. Orell Füssli Verlag, Zürich 1946,
Question No. 6:
Do you consider that there would be any interest in your country in having
a translation made of professor Lacmann’s book: »Die Photogranunetrie in
ihrer Anwendung auf nicht-topographischen Gebieten»?
If so, can any contribution for the translatien be counted on from your
country?
Austria:
No. Prof. Lacmann's bock is written in German.
Belgium:
Lacmann's book is of interest but its scope is too limited to make a trans-
lation necessary.
France, Israel, Sweden and Switzerland
have also given a negative reply to this question, as they are able to read
this book in its original language. Israel, however, will bear the question
in mind, believing that a translation to Hebrew may be of interest to the
younger generation.
U.S. A:
The Naval Photographic Interpretation Center (Washington, D. C.) has
made a wire-recorded translation of Otto Lacmann’s book. They are
planning to get a typed translation in rough form at least.
Question No. 7:

within the bounds of the commission.
