phototheodolites are used and for measurements a Wild autograph A4 and a
Zeiss stereocomparator are the most important instruments. Thus archeologie
and geologic problems have been treated through ordinary plotting. Changes
in state of roads have been similary studied.
A comprehensive treatment of the theory of errors of terrestrial photo-
grammetry has been given by Professor B. Hallert for a research project
concerning the application of terrestrial photogrammetry to different measuring
problems within cities.

2) Zeiss’ stereomicroscope for capillaroscopy has been modified to facilitate
photogrammetric work. E 1
3) A table for the X-ray photogrammetric work on liver volume. The important
feature is that the inner orientation is put under control. A similar device is
provided for a »wind tunnel» for hypothermic experiments on animals,
which has been used for the liver volume measurements. E 3

5) Apparatus for extra-oral radiography. E 3
(j) As an aid in the work on capillaroscopy, E 1, a lens sterescope with alternat
ing shutters has been built.
7) In many applications glossy steel balls have been used as signals to provide
high definition. A 2 etc.
Most of the work in this field is carried out with available photogrammetric
instruments.
