GENERAL INFORMATION
I
GENERAL
In addition to Technical Sessions and Visits and Social Excursions and
Events which are detailed in the separately printed Congress Programme,
there are Congress Exhibitions covering several different aspects of
Photogrammetry.
The most important of these is the TECHNICAL EXHIBITION. This
occupies seven large halls and some smaller rooms, and full details of it
are given in this Guide.
There are also National Exhibits, an Historical Exhibition, Exhibits of
Education in Photogrammetry and Exhibits by Commissions IV and V of the
I.S.P. This Guide contains only summaries of information about these;
details will be found in each case in the halls where the exhibits are located.
LOCATION OF THE EXHIBITIONS
The exhibitions are located in four different buildings in or within half a
mile of the main Congress building, the Senate House of the University of
London. A free bus service will operate continuously between the
exhibitions during the Congress hours.
The Congress Map shows the location of the Exhibition Halls, Under
ground Railway Stations, Stopping Points of the bus service and other
services. General information can be obtained from the enquiry desk in
the Senate House Reception Area, MacMillan Hall.
