Instruments for Aerial Photography 
Aerial Survey Cameras. For normal angle, wide angle, and convergent 
photography with Zeiss high-performance lenses Topar and Pleogon. Both 
lenses are practically free from distortion and have an excellent resolving 
power. 
All cameras are equipped with Aerotop-shutter, which is placed between 
the lenses and which works on the principle of continuously rotating disks 
thus avoiding any retarding shock after each exposure, which occurred 
with the spring-operated type. The shutter operates with “flying start” 
thus achieving a remarkably high degree of efficiency. A continuous 
setting of exposure times between 1/100 up to 1/1000 of a second are 
possible. This proves to be of special advantage for low-flying missions 
with fast aeroplanes, for cadastral work, land reallotment, and engineer 
projects.
