Exhibit
A new instrument, based on a novel idea which has been patented is the
Photogrammetric Analyser designed by R. C. Mcllleron of Southern
Rhodesia. This instrument permits the tracing of contours without the aid
of stereoscopic relief. This is achieved by using the “flicker” principle of
presenting alternate views of a pair of photographs to the same eye. By
adjusting the parallax the various planes can be made to appear stationary
so that contours may be drawn.
In addition there will be exhibited a Pocket Stereoscope, Folding Mirror
Stereoscope, Stereometer and a Parallel Guidance Mechanism by means
of which the last two may be moved over several pairs of 9 in.x9 in.
photographs without the necessity of constant re-alignment. Lastly, there
will be a radial line Slotting Machine for making templates for this
plotting method.
