Activities and Products
KLM AEROCARTO n.v. is a company with nearly 40 years of experience
in all parts of the globe with its main base at Schiphol Airport, The
Netherlands.
Her aircraft are equipped with modern navigation instruments and
electronic apparatus in support of photogrammetric production such as
the profile recorder.
Photographic production including all types of mosaics takes place in the
Schiphol laboratories, whereas the photogrammetric plant at Delft has a
wide range of map-production which includes large scale maps for town
planning, etc., medium-scale maps for a great variety of technical purposes,
small scale topographic maps, etc.

Working samples of different types will be demonstrated referring to
mapping work. Large-size process equipment is not demonstrated by
reason of space, but we show photos of this equipment. Special advice is
given concerning the following items: modern and advanced processes for
reproduction of maps, for special measuring work in the process field, for
elimination of cartographic disfiguration, for photomechanic line varia
tion, outlining and overlapping.

KLIMSCH & CO is one of the leading manufacturers of process cameras
and equipment in the world. Since 1932 we have delivered automatic
focusing process cameras, a type of camera which has during recent
years been of greatest interest to our customers.
For cartographic process work cameras with rated sizes from 20 in. X 20 in.
