in large scale. These results have showed, this numerical analysis of forestry 
based on the photo-information to be effective to estimate the volume, growth and 
damage of the timber and from this experiment, this techniques were used 
completely to analyze the Government forest from 1970. Presently, the production 
works of the score chart of the estimation by the multiple equation equivarent method 
are now progressing in each different district and each classified tree for the 
Government forest in whole country. Since 1970, the remote sensing technique 
has been taken advantage of studying the environment investigation related to the 
air pollution around the cities and the report which clarified present state of the 
air pollution around Tokyo has been published in May of 1972. This study stands 
for the analysis of photo density, refraction of electro-magnetic response construction 
and to judge the degree of tree activity and the damage distribution. The present 
study has concentrated to the development of systematization of automatic measure- 
ment by the remote sensing technique and has directed to the study for the practical 
use of multispectoral airphoto.
