At present, a large quantity of Programs both for
the &nalytical and analog-ana lytical methods are already
available.
e
In order to make easier utilization of these programs,
their main characteristics and initial data are being
standardized. Complete sets of programs have been com-
piled, destined for checking initial data and quality of
the processes of plotting, computation of corrections
for systematic errors, etc.
Plotting and adjustment of a spatial photogram-
metric network are mainly carried out by treating sepa-
rate strips. Block phototriangulation is also being more
widely used.
Strip networks are plotted as independent and (or)semi-

-independent models. According to the independent-models
method, each model is plotted in its own coordinate
System, the direction of the base being considered as
coinciding with the X-X axis, and assuming that the
principal base plane of ihe left ray-bundle represent
the X-Z plane of this system. Mutual (relative) orienta-
ion elements are determined by iteration from the
measured coordinates of 12-18 points located in zones
near those standard.
