West Germany normal angle (f = 210 mm) camera as well as the
plate camera RC 7a were used, Some test flights were made with
VEB Carl Zeiss Jena and Wild RC 10 wide-angle cameras.
Ihe annual output has been a mean 12 000 black-and-white and
1 000 color aerial photographs per year, From these films about
60 000 black-and-white and 2000 color copies were yearly made,
Aerotriangulation
Ihe analytical method of adjustment with bundles of rays is not
only a new method under examination, but is already in daily
practical use, The Finns are also serving results from this
type of aerotriangulation by order of other European countries.
For the measurement of image coordinates in a comparator there
are two Zeiss West Germany comparators PSK, one at Helsinki Uni-
versity of Technology and the other one at the National Board
of Survey,
In addition there are two older Stereoplanigraphs at the Natio-
nal Board of Survey which are in use as analog triangulation
instruments for less accurate purposes and one Wild A7 by the
private enterprise Kaavakartta Oy. Other pri-
vate enterprises use Wild A8 instruments occasionally also for
analog triangulation, Early in 1972 the Institute of Photogram-
metry got a Finnish made digital registration equipment for an
older Stereoplanigraph C5 for non-topographic analytical photo-
grammetry.
Especially interesting are some practical studies by the Insti-
tute of Photogrammetry in which coordinates of new fixed and sig-
nalized points were determined for later geodetic and cadastral
purposes,
The annual output in our country has been about 1800 analytical
measured models a year.
