A separate (smaller scale) photographic coverage is used for the determin-
ation of minor control (in order to save ground control and A.T. work).
The larger scale photographic coverage (determined by the need for semantic
information) is used for plotting.

‘A procedure applicable to the production of annotated photo maps. Topographic
photo interpretation of the orginal aerial photographs is applied because
of the loss of semantic information and the difficulty of stereoscopic
observations of the orthophoto maps.
