FAIREY SURVEYS LIMITED
Three formal courses are run by the company to cover basic, intermediate and
advanced training for photogrammetric staff. The courses are held either
annually or biennially according to prevailing circumstances and demand. Apart
from the three internal courses, day release facilities are given to suitably
qualified employees to study for Ordinary and Higher National Certificates in
either photogrammetry or cartography.
HUNTING SURVEYS LIMITED
Employees receive basic training courses, within the company, in photogrammetry
and cartographic drawing and these continue to be integrated with a day and block
release education programme for Ordinary and Higher National Certificate
courses in surveying, cartography and photogrammetry.

University College London during the period of the report.
ORDNANCE SURVEY OF NORTHERN IRELAND

academic institutions in Northern Ireland. Recently a member of staff obtained
a Higher National Certificate at North East London Polytechnic. Basic training
in plotting and contouring is given within the organisation.
