No. 5 Integrated navigation
2.5.1 Methods:
(5A) Modern integrated survey navigation methods and systems based on
“Doppler plus Survey Interface” (example: ITC PHOTNAV system), intended
primarily to produce perfect survey navigation.
(SB) Modern integrated survey navigation methods and systems based on
"INS integrated with aerial cameras and presentation system" (example: J
Fokker F-27 Integrated System), intended not only to produce perfect e =
navigation but also to present the aerial camera's 6 elements of exterior orien-
tation at the instant of exposure — i.e. position and altitutde (X, Y, Z) and
the three attitude angles.
This paper deals primarily with these integrated systems (Nos. 5A and
SB).
