in turn, has some effect on the geometry of the orthophoto image of the
terrain surface near these features. In order to evaluate this effect
for the orthophotos produced on the Gestalt Photo Mapper, a number of con-
trol points were selected within a distance of 1 mm (at 1:10 000 scale of
the original photos) from the elevated features. The standard errors for
these points for both orthophotos are listed in Table V in addition to
the standard errors calculated for all points.
