~The volume which we present in Helsinki with satis-
faction to our coleagues from the field of photogrammetry
and photointerpretation is starting a new library edition,
which we hope will be continued in the coming years. Such
a library edition in due time will allow the completion of
an actual documentation of photogrammetrical works for all
member — countries of ISP. This bibliography owing to its
completion and integrated form will be an excelent supple-
ment of the bibliographical cards issued in Enschede by
the International Institution for Aerial Survey and Earth
Sciences /ITC/.
"e hope also that in a short time Photogrammetry will
enter one of the computer informatical systems, which in a
considerably better manner than bibliographical cards will
cover the bibliographical demands of the users. In this
case most actual and complete bibliographical records will
be indispensable.
"e expect that the reading colleagues will kindly re-
alize the difficulties which faced the National Photogram-
metric Societes in the preparation of the bibliographical
material.
We will be grateful for your constructive criticism
concerning the bibliographical arrangement, which could
improve the next volumes of the ISP bibliographical libra-
ry edition. Working Group VI-5 on "Planning economy, orga-
nization of photogrammetrical establishments, professional
aspects" is directed by S.J.Friedman /USA/.
The Vorking Groups have been preparing a brochure
which will list the organizations of each member society
and key officers. This should greatly encourange scienti-
fio cooperation and communication between various natio-
nal organizations.
