- Cooperation end assistance to the other groups to furnish them
with as much subsidies as possible.
- Get acquainted with erosion and deposition processes in humid
tropical embients.
- Get acquainted with the equilibrium existing among the diffe-
rent variables contributing for the complex amazonic ecosystems
(soil, relief, vegetation and climate).
Such knowledges are of extreme importance for the Amazon Region
in order to avoid an improper or extemporaneous land managene-
ment to put in risk the potencialities of more than half the H 3
Brazilian territory.
BASIC ACTIVITIES
2.1. PRELIMINARY INTERPRETATION
Consisting of observation (sometimes stereoscopic), stu-
dies and inicial delineation of the relief forms over the
RADAR images. For that, all other available elements =
were used such as images of other sensors and results of
former jobs.
