1:1.000.000.
- Study of Phytoecologic Regions, their nature and economic re-

- Information on the dynamic, estructure and caracterization of
the ecosystems, aiming to achieve the best manegement of re-
newable natural resources in favor of the human being with no
risk to the general ecosystem.
Surveying of Forest potenciality.
- Delineation of exploitable forested areas and its technical -
and economical feasibility.
- Economic Zoning based on the identification of forest types.
- Statistical analysis of data collected.
- Identification of.botanic species.
- Climate analysis.
- Bloclimate.analysis.
- Technical advise to the other RADAMBRASIL TEAMS and Government
Agencies.
2. BASIC ACTIVITIES:
2.1.- PRELIMINARY INTERPRETATION:
Preliminary interpretation is developed through the analysis
of the drainage pattern, gray tone and texture, by selecting,
at once, the morphologic environments. After that, in inte-
gration of the map sheets in 1:250.000 is done and the areas
