Abstract
. An inwentory on a world-wide basis of existing photo-
grammetric education facilities, and research efforts is.
a presented and analysed: There are presently at least 930
institutions in the world at which photogrammetry is taught
at various levels by a total of 1,438 full-time or part-
time professors or teachers. — The estimated professional
photogrammetric research personnel, world-wide, is 1.438
and the estimated annual photogrammetric R E D expenditu-
res are approximately U.S. Z 9 milion. — Recommendations
are formulated regarding planning and coordination of pho-
togrammetry education and research for the future.
