The first issue of '"Photogrammetrisa" review is published. 
The General Assembly of the Congress of the International 
Society for Photogrammetry, in Home, states it as its of- 
ficial publication. 
Paolo.Dore's book "Fondamenti di Fotogrammetria" is publis- 
hed in Bologna. ^ 
Zeiss Pleon (1509) lens, the first very wide angle photo- 
grammetric lens, is manufactured,

M.Zeller's book "Lehrbuch der Photogrammétrie" is publish- 
ed in Zürich. The French version will be published after an 
year. 
September, The Sixth Congress of the International Society 
for Photogrammetry is held in Hague. 
L.Bertele makes Wild Aviotar photogramme /ric lens, (210 mn, 
60") having 9 lenses. 
Poivilliers Stereotopograph, model D, is made up in France. 
Smith describes the first use of radar photographs to im- 
prove map accuracy.
