The comparison allows the definition of more fundamental 
requirements for significant bands than monotemporal data. 
Experience has shown the analysis of signature changes over a 
time period permits a higher separability of surface features 
as it can be obtained on the basis of monotemporal information. 
Fig. 1 shows the training targets marked on a display of the 
near IR band around 1,1 jm of the MSS aircraft scanner data.
