CONCLUSIONS 
Vhen preparing a land use inventory from satellite data, 
the details of the inventory is limited by the resolu 
tion of the scanner* In the case of landsat resolution 
is approximately 0*6 hectares* This case study pro 
jects the utility of MSS data for producing large area 
land use inventory suitable for meeting specific infor 
mation needs* at the least possible expenses and within 
stated time* However* the aerial platform data can be 
further used to prepare the level II classification*
