The Photo processing subsystem is for developing 70 mm
films ( latent image ) produced by the Film image processor.
The subsystem has also a capability of copying B/W (Black and
White ) film in addition to color composition.
Both 70 mm and 240 mm films are available in black/white and
color. Prints are also available both in black/white and color.
4, Concluding Remarks
The MOS-2, which will follow the MOS-1, is being planned
to have an improved microwave radiometer and two active micro-
wave sensors such as an altitudemeter and a scatterometer.
In parallel with the development of the MOS-2, a series of land
observation satellites will be developed too.
trial communication links. Therefore, great effort has been
done to overpass the barrier of radio interference problems as-
N sociated with the Landsat receiving station. From this view
| point, of great concerns is new frequency allocations to the Earth
exploration satellite service, which will be discussed in the World
Administrative Radio Conference next year.
In Japan, the 2 GHz band is very widely used by the terres-
