During the last 2 years, photo data are established in this way, covering 
about 4 000 km? of the Crown forests. It is expected that during the next 2 years 
period the rest of the Crown forests will be covered. 
The photos are here used as suplement to, or as compensation for ordinary 
maps. In addition to this the Crown Forest Administration now has going on 
tests, using photointerpretation by road location, forests types spesification and 
forests volum registration.
