Hence, after introducing parameters for the affinity in the adjust-
ment the accuracy of the image coordinates in the films 1s of the same
magnitude as in the plates. Also in films the standard error increases
with the radii.
4.222 Investigation of the variation of the affinity within some photo-
graphs and between photographs in the same film roll
In six photographs on film the affinity coefficients were computed.
The photographs were located in different parts of the film roll. The
results are demonstrated in Table 12.

Evidently the affinity coefficients are comparatively constant within
each photograph and also between the photographs.
4.223 The influence upon the accuracy of the photographs of differ-
ent filters
In Table 13, the results of the determinations of the standard error of
unit weight of the image coordinate measurements in 9 photographs on
film are demonstrated. The photographs were taken without filters
(photographs number 5 and 20) and with some different filters. The
computations were performed with seven parameters as demonstrated
above
