An outline is given of the influences which determine the exposure of an aerial photograph.
The illumination of a horizontal terrain surface depends on the extinction of the extra-
terrestrial solar radiation in the atmosphere, and especially on the cloudiness of the sky.
The latter determines the number of possible **photographic flight days.“ The nature of the
radiation arriving at the aerial camera is determined by the different reflectance (Albedo) of the
terrain surface, the haze and “air light.“ The possibilities and limitations of infrared photography
are discussed. Reference is made to the light transmittance of the taking camera to round off
the subject. The figures are submitted to enable the reader to make his own evaluations.

On y donne un apercu sur les influences qui déterminent l'exposition d'une vue aérienne.
L'éclairage d'une surface de terrain horizontale dépend de l'extinction de la radiation solaire
extra-terrestre dans l’atmosphère et surtout des nuages. Ces derniers déterminent le nombre
de «jours de vol de prise de vues». La nature de la radiation arrivant à la chambre aérienne
est déterminée par le facteur de rémission (Albedo) différent d’une surface de terrain, la
vapeur et l’aérosol. On y discute les possibilités et les limites de la photographie en lumière
infrarouge. Pour compléter le sujet on mentionne brièvement la transparence de la chambre
de prise de vues. Les indications de chiffres doivent faciliter au lecteur les évaluations per-
onnelles.
