I am not very well prepared for this business 
and it is only because of the fact that we use 
radial triangulation already in my country — 
and have done so for some time > and because 
it was Holland who proposed this as a subject 
for the Conference as one of the invited papers,

that I took the liberty of accepting the invita- 
tion of Professor Cassinis. ; 
First, may I ask Professor Roelofs to give his 
report about this, and to make some remarks
