role played in this connection by the instrument combination mirror 
stereoscope, Balplex Plotter and precision equipments is tremendously 
important. 
The methods have been elaborated in such a way that a methodologi- 
cal skeleton has been obtained from which deviations due to local con- 
ditions may easily be made. The methods have, moreover, been so work- 
ed out that the utilization of photogrammetry in connection with road- 
planning does not call for more than a small number of photogrammet- 
ric specialists, and there are thus possibilities of extending the use of 
photogrammetry on the local plane.
