Plotting of a historic bridge «Brigde of Jambes».
An ancient bridge, named «Bridge of Jambes», has to be altered for navigation purposes in
order to allow barges with a larger tonnage to pass under it.
The Royal Commission for Monuments and Sites required that the ancient architectural
structure and also the form of the arches and the profile of the piers should be respected.
The elevation and section plans of the ornament up-stream and down-stream had to be drawn
in order to allow its reconstruction.
Considering the importance of the engineering structure and the unusual aspect of its orna-
ment, only photogrammetry was able to perform such a task.
For execution details, cf. French text.
