Zusammenfassung 
Dieser Beitrag berichtet über Untersuchungen, die in den letzten Jahren 
am Geographischen Institut der Universität Zürich durchgeführt wurden, 
Der Luftbildaspekt von rund 6000 Landnutzungseinheiten wurde auf panchro- 
matischem Photomaterial aus intensiv genutzten Gebieten der Schweiz un- 
tersucht, Zu diesem Zweck erfuhren die bei der Landnutzungsinterpretation 
verwendeten Indikatoren Grauton, Textur und Stereoeffekt eine statisti- 
Sche Auswertung, Diese erlaubte es, die Veránderungen dieser Indikatoren 
wáhrend der Vegetationsperiode zu erfassen, Dadurch konnten die für die 
Interpretation günstigsten Jahreszeiten ermittelt werden, Es zeigte sich, 
dass für eine allgemeine Interpretation, die die wichtigsten Nutzungsty- 
pen (Getreide, Hackfrüchte, Natur- und Kunstwiesen) unterscheidet, die 
Zeit Mitte Mai am geeignetsten ist, 
Summary 
This report summarizes research carried out throughout the past years at 
the Geographical Department of the University of Zurich, The air photo 
aspect of approx. 6000 land use units was studied on panchromatic mate- 
rial from intensively cultivated areas of Switzerland, The indicators 
gray tone, texture, and stereoeffect, used for the land use interpreta- 
tion, were statistically evaluated, By means of this evaluation we were 
able to find out the changes of the above mentioned indicators during the 
growing season, The best seasons for interpretation could thus be deter- 
mined, For a general interpretation of the main land use types (small | 
grains, root-crops, natural meadows, alfalfa) this period is middle of 
May.

Le présent travail rapporte les recherches entreprises pendant ces der- | 
nibres années à l'Institut Géographique de l'Université de Zurich, | 
L'aspect d'environ 6000 unités d'utilisation du sol fut examiné sur des 
photographies aériennes panchromatiques prises dans des régions suisses 
à cultures intenses, A cet effet, nous avons evalué statistiquement les 
indiquateurs teinte grise, texture, et effet stéréoscopique, employé 
pour l'interprétation de l'utilisation du sol, Grâce à cette méthode, il 
a été possible de déterminer la transformation des indicateurs durant la | 
période de croissance et de même les périodes les plus indiquées pour 
l'interprétation, Pour une interprétation générale des principaux types 
de végétation (céréales, plantes serclées, prés naturels, prairies arti- 
ficielles), la période idéale est vers mi-mai.
