G) INTERACTIVE EDITING and UPDATING of both IMAGE RASTER and 
VECTORS, however the main objective should be to edit and 
update the VECTORS. A facility to switch between Left 
and Right Aerial Photogram in the same area (overlap) 
should be available. This is specially necessary in 
large scale mapping of cities. 
H) COMBINED RASTER PLOTS should be generated. The plotter 
should accept a resolution to maintain the accuracy of 
the scanners. 
I) VECTOR PLOTS should be generated to fullfill the 
requirements for adequate mapping. 
J) REPORTS and statistics should be generated to add 
necessary information to the COMBINED RASTER and 
VECTOR plots. 
Design of an interactive workstation for editing and updating 
The workstation should have full functionality with respect 
to vector and associated data manipulation. The functionality 
for the image raster manipulation should cover: 
- Geometric corrections to fit the vector map 
e Zooming 
- Panning 
- Contrast manipulation 
The resolution of the screen should be 1024 x 12380 pixels, 
i.e. state of the art. It should be possible to split the 
screen into a minimum of 2 views (multiview) such obtaining 
the possibility of viewing left and right photogram at the 
same time.
