Finally four classes of soil suitability viz. highly suitable (S1), 
Moderately suitable (S2), Marginally suitable (S3) and not 
suitable (N) were identified. The area under suitability class s2d 
(moderately suitable due to moderate drainage) is higher than the 
area under class S1 (highly suitable) because the moderate 
drainage is not a constraint for mango plantation. Figure-5 shows 
soil map of the study area. Table-8 and Figure-6 represent mango
