The morphometric study of Ferozpur Jhirka shows that the
streams are prevailing in the area having 1* to 4™ order.
There are 741 streams among these 426 are 1*' order, 224
are 2"! order, 75 are 3' order and 16 are 4" order. The
drainage density is ranging between 0.26 to 3.84 streams
per sq. kilometer. This is categories into three categories
i.e. high, which are found in the hilly areas of Aravalli,
medium, found in pediment and low density is found in
plain areas. The bifurcation ration is ranging between 1 to
5.65. the lower value of bifurcation ratio are
characteristics of micro-watersheds where the drainage

has not been affected by the structural disturbance. The
stream frequency is ranging between 0.03 to 11. The high
stream frequency is found in the hilly areas.
The three basin shape factors includes elongation ratio,
circularity ratio and form factor shows that the values are
near to zero, which indicate that these micro-watershed are
more elongation.
The values of texture ratio are varying range between 0.03 to
2.1. The drainage texture means the relative spacing of
