3. CONCLUSIONS - DISCUSSION
The study of aerial photographs resulted in important
information, at the grade permitted by the used scale for basic
elements of terrain analysis as geomorphology (slopes, drainage
network) and land uses.
Terrain analysis can be done from various aspects, with
different methods and for different purposes. As we are
interested in subjects of civil engineer, we consider that
drainage basins and areas of gentle slope present basic concern
from the aspect of terrain analysis in the studied area.
SPOT P orthoimage offers general information for drainage
network, roads, forests. Digital analysis resulted in a
classification of 4 classes (sea water, open areas, built-up areas,
forests) of land uses.
The study of aerial photographs and satellite data was done with
a systematic approach in order to have useful results for
subjects of civil engineer.
Aerial photographs as well satellite data can be further
processed and studied with other photogrammetric and remote
sensing methods.
