4. CONCLUSIONS 
From the study, it can be concluded that IRS 1C LISS III and 
PAN merged data are most appropriate for appraisal and 
monitoring of land resources for cadastral level agricultural 
planning. Adequate ground truth information on soil, a three 
dimensional body, is required to develop physiography- soil 
relationship for soil resource mapping.
