4. HONOURS TO HANS FORAMITTI
In 1968, Foramitti was awarded the silver order of merit of the
Republic of Austria, and since 1976 he was Associated Foreign
Member of the Belgian Academy of Science and Arts.
Hans Foramitti died before he could become an Honorary
Member of CIPA. The Foramitti Sessions shall be a greater
honour, thanking and honouring this great personality and
reminding future generations of an extraordinary cosmopolitan,
developer and missionary of architectural photogrammetry and
documentation.
