- All levels of training seminars are available - from beginners 
through advanced to file oriented seminars. Topical seminars 
(multifile) are also organised. 
Beginners seminars generally last two days to provide an ample 
hands-on time. Other seminars have a normal duration of one 
day. Any type of seminar can, upon request be performed at 
customer's premises. 
ESA-IRS is present in most European countries and even 
overseas (currently Australia) through its network of National 
Centres and Agents. They operate as full ESA-IRS 
representatives for all matters which do not require online, 
instant help and support. 
Parallel to the national Centres one should nóte the active 
participation of ESA-IRS in national Online User Groups where 
direct contact with an assembly of customers cán be gained thus 
providing precious feedback on customer needs. 
III Access to ESA-IRS. 
ÉSA-IRS is connected to a variety of telecommunication networks 
enabling worldwide access. 
Outside Europe access can be obtäined at any speed between 110 bits 
pét second and 1200 bps via TYMNET or, at 50 bps through the TELEX 
network. 
Additionally, within Europe, ESA-IRS can be reached through packet 
switched networks such as EURONET, TRANSPAC, (France) DATEX-P 
(Germany), PSS (United Kingdom) etc. 
. There are also ESA-IRS concentrators available in most European 
countries. Direct dial up is of course always a possibility. 
All of the abovementioned access methods operate in dial-up mode, 
the only technical requirement being that the terminal used be 
TELETYPE COMPATIBLE (transmission code USASCII). 
For special applications it is possible to obtain access at 2400 
bps either using leased lines or - a unique feature by ESA-IRS - in 
dial up mode. 
IV The Software. 
The features of the ESA-QUEST software would require much more than
