Responsibilities of GEOFIZ
The tasks of the information center can be summarized as follows:
+ documentation -- in cooperation with German and foreign partners to
prevent duplication of efforts and to close gaps in the documented in-
formation;
* establishment of on-line data. banks to ensure accessibility to a wide public;
provide various information services; and
