holder
connected. The stays D-A2 and C-B2 are indis-
pensible. For transportation the holder can
be taken down.
Various cameras can be attached to the holder.
Other cases than the normal case (for instance
different convergent cases) can be arranged
by varying the position of the camera on the
holder.
To assure that all stereo-pairs have the same
relative orientation the camera should not be
removed during one and the same photography
project.
The stereo-camera shown in Figure 2, is in-
tended for photography distances of 1 m or
less and bases of 0.3-0.4 m. The same con-
struction principle can be used even for
greater distances and bases.
DESCRIPTION OF THE PHOTOGRAPH
ADJUSTING DEVICE
Figure 3 shows a device designed and con-
structed at the Department of Photogrammetry
to give a rapid and precise inner orientation
adjustment of each of the photographs placed
in the photograph holders of a Wild A7. The
photographs can be moved in the X- and Y-
directions using the screws "X" and "Y" in
the Figure. For the k-adjustment the ordinary
K-screws of the instrument is used.
The position of the fiducial marks and the
setting of the orientation elements are read
