Full text: Resource and environmental monitoring

Influences of local and watershed factors on lake water
properties were discussed with special emphasis on
factors which can be assessed by remote sensing. First
investigations of possible relationships show the
importance of local parameters reflecting conditions of
lake genesis for the differentiation of lake water
properties, whereas landuse of the surroundings
seems to be a factor of secondary importance.
Further investigations are directed towards a
systematic analysis of the importance of individual
factors influencing trophic state conditions. Additionally,
the multitemporal satellite data will be evaluated more
detailed for of a better understanding of the spatial and
temporal variations of the lake water properties.
