4. TASKS OF GEODETIC TEAM 
Geodetic team is of key importance for work and cooperation of 
other teams. 
First of all we have to supply actual map of Park area. Some 
teams use our color aerial photos for land cover interpretation. 
Elaborated numerical map will be a geometric base for the 
spatial information management system. We also realize and 
co-ordinate work in this area. 
The main tasks of our team are as follows: 
0 topographic map in scale 1: 25000 elaboration, 
0 computerization of cadastral cases and numerical cadastral 
map elaboration, 
and moreover 
0 consulting in area of using aerial photos for interpretation 
purposes, 
0 creation and implementation of spatial information system 
for environmental and natural resource management, 
0 co-ordination in area of preparation data for spatial 
information system.

For this purpose and for interpretation of land cover the color 
aerial photos in scale 1: 20000 ware taken. 
We started field measurements of photogrammetric ground 
points using classical method. However, because of insufficient 
quality of existing control networks in this area, using total 
station appeared to be neither good nor economic solution. 
Therefore we decided to use GPS. 
Aerotraingulation was made with use of classical, analytical 
technology: measurements on  modernized  Stecometer, 
adjustment with polish block adjustment software - NADZOR. 
Achieved results (Mp = +0.60m, Mh = £0.30m) are sufficient 
for elaboration map in scale 1 : 25000. 
For elaboration of topographic map we use modernized, 
connected to PC’s analog stereoplotters and desktop mapping 
software - GeoSET (Figure 1). 
In GeoSET is also measured regular grid and topographic lines 
for DTM. The contour lines on plotted ‘map are generated in 
SCOP. We cannot use digital photogrammetry and procedures 
of automatic generation of digital elevation models, because of 
high cost of this technology.

5. EMPLOYED TECHNOLOGY 
5.1 Topographic map elaboration 
In such conditions as large (over 60.000 ha) area, difficult, 
inaccessible, boggy terrain, the best solution for map 
elaboration is photogrammetry. 
GeoSET will be employed as main tool for redaction and 
edition of topographic map, which we will plot on ink jet 
plotters, too. At now other teams can use raw, not drafted map 
in the form of verification plots (Figure 2) or disk files in BDP 
(inner format of GeoSET) or DXF format.
