Le systéme est ouvert à l'utilisation de toute nouveauté qu'apporte le progrés technique ;
Abstract
Taking into account our own experience and the actual requirements, a complete technology was elaborated. It
uses the same technological flow, both for a cyclic updating, and for an operative updating of the topographic maps.
This new technology requires that all changes of the map contents should be made after their confirmation. In
order to make the necessary checks, a methodology for intersecting the information received from different sources-
change deciders or topographic map users, was elaborated.
The changed elements are engraved on the initial map for the cyclic updating, or are to be selected and printed
on the existing maps for an operative updating (on demand).
To decide the cyclic updating, a methodology of estimating "the informative value of the topographic maps",
through which the map details are weighted by means of scalargrams related to their utility, was established. Thus, the
change ratio shows more objectively the degree of aging of the maps.
