HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE FOR AUTOMATED PROCESSING OF COSMIC
INFORMATION IN REMOTE SENSING

The purpose of this report is to present the main problems,
connected with the development of automated complex processing of the
cosmic information, its new concept, hierarchical structure, the purpose
and realization of software and hardware.
On the base of analysis of the requirements to the multipurpose
complex from the point of view of the solution of problems,
technological procedures, prodessing, etc..., concept of this type new
complex and requirements to the hardware and software has been offered.
The main directions of the research and development of this
concept has been cited (research in processing equipment, memory, general
and special I/O equipment and hardware).
Special attention is dedicated to the structure and composition
of software, database, programme languages, etc...
The first results of the suggested concept of the automated
complex processing of cosmic information for geodetic service has been
cited.
