CONCLUSION
This paper describes shortly a methodology developped
under a Contract of the National Research Council Space Plan
which will be used in future SPOT and Thematic Mapper simulation
programs. This procedure needs a significant improvement in ta-
king into account the sensor technology and the atmospheric ef-
fects, in particular in the case of multiplatforms observations
with different sensors. Furthermore a deeper study and testing
of the procedure is necessary contemporaneously with an applica-
tion which will consider all the different aspects involved.
This work will require at least a two years program which will
start at the beginning of next autumn.
