s Methodology and survey phases
ho-
s In table no. 1 are exemplified the methodologic phases uti-
lized to prepare a cartographic document suitable to ascertain
| the real urban and agricultural land-suitability of the zone under
s examination.
iles After a first phase consisting in the air photograph inter-
pretation and the consequent drawing-up of expedition maps at the
same scale of air photographs, the second check phase was carried
out with campaign surveys and topographic and morphologic checks,
by using photogrammetric instruments. In the third phase, the
different data obtained through the first and the second phases
were correlated so that to be able to prepare a "Land-units" map,
,0— which is the starting-point of the preparation of a "Land-suitabi
| of lity" map, and furthermore of explanatory natural sections of
'a- the environmental characteristics.
