Conclusions lhe i
¢ Different aluminum composite scraps have been investigated in order to separate and recover "MM
aluminum from silicon carbide (SiC) particles reinforced in composites.
The recovered metal was realized using different addition of ternary fluxes and argon injection. LA
When used 20% of ternary salt (flux) the recovery of aluminum alloy was more than 97%.
. The microscopic study put in evidence the formation of a titanium compound, TiSi, witt' Inthe
orthorhombic structure. NM
