Gestalt Graphs?
Each Gestalt graph is constructed based on a salient Gestalt or
ganizational principle. The nodes denote the tokens from the
previous level and the arcs denote the existence of a Gestalt re
lationship. Complex organizations are derived by various graph
operations on this basis set.
Our set of Gestalt graphs are:
1. Proximity: Token closeness and orientation similarity.
2. End Point Nearness: End point of tokens are near.
3. Continuity graph: Possible continuations based on orienta
tion/intercept or curvature/center.
4. Similarity: Similar photometric and geometric properties.
5. Common Region: Tokens share a common region.
