The board of W.G. VI / 4 is expecting the remarks and opinion
of the W.G. members, concerning the contents of the second volume,
II. - List of doctor's theses
In the first volume of ISP Bibliographies, the lists of doctor's
theses were included. We like to compile a separate list of
doctor's theses in the field of photogrammetry, photointerpreta
tion and remote sensing, covering the period between 1976 - 1980.
III. - The International Bibliography of Photogrammetrv
International Institute for Aerial Survey and Earth Sciences
/ITC/ in Enschede /Holland/ which was editing the International
Bibliography of Photogrammetry, decided to discontinue the publi
cation of the bibliography by the and of 1977 .
Fortunately the Managing Editor of "Geo Abstracts, Part G" of
fered its cooperation in continuing the IBP in a somewhat diffe
rent format. From January 1st 1978, IBP become a part of GAG.
GAG which has had the title; "Remote Sensing and Cartography"
will consequently carry the name" Remote Sensing, Photogrammetry
and Cartography".
GAG is published in six bimonthly issues per annun, each issue
containing between 400 and 5°0 titles, with abstracts. ITC will
contribute the abstracts but in our opinion a close link between
GAG and ISP should be established. Prof. Keith Clayton from Geo
Abstracts, in the letter addressed to the chairman of W.G .4
Ly
expressed his wishes of cooperation with ISP.
