should encourage authors to write such books and request 
publishers tu of international reputation to publish and supply 
these books to the Photogrammetric teaching organisations 
of the ISP member countries« 
International Society for Photogrammetry may 
also assist the developing countries in procuring essential 
photogrammetric instruments through appropriate United 
Nations agency« 
CONCLUSION 
The problems of photogrammetric education in 
developing countries and the experiences gained in India have 
been discussed« The course content and the lecture and 
practical instruction hours of three levels of photogrammetric 
courses conducted in Survey Training Institute, Hyderabad 
compare favourably with available information and world - 
practice« The pattern and standard of photogrammetric 
education in Survey Training Institute adequately meet the 
requirements of the developing countries and can followed 
by others« 
Several areas of photogrammetric education 
activities where Commission VI of the International Society 
for Photogrammetry can assist the developing countries have 
been indicated« It is hoped that these suggestions 
will receive due attention and consideration in the 
Fourteenth ISP Congress, Hamburg in 1980«
