6. Conclusions
It was shown in this paper, how at ETH Ziirich the curriculum of surveying
engineering, and in particular the photogrammetric portion, has been restructured and
given a different, more timely and relevant basis, in order to cope with the requirements
of the present time. Course contents have not been listed in much detail, because
particularly in the advanced courses, they are subject to rapid change. Besides, we
believe that the form of teaching, the way of conveying and receiving information is at
least as important as the content of courses. In order to cover these aspects, more than
one additional paper would be required.
