The projector has "RUSSAR—84—300"objectives
which are designed specially for this device and have
small distortion.
Also the image holders can move in a position
suitable for mounting spectral positives, image
holding carriages can move in the positives
plane,along optical axis of objectives and rotate
round them.
Four objectives can move in focusing, light
filters can be changed and also the light flux can be
covered by a mechanical shield.
The command system of the device provides for
th e selection of illuminating and projecting
channels, automatic preservation of the images
sharpness if its scale changes on a translucent
table, automatic change of light filters,
displacement and rotation of image holders,
photorecording both on cuted and roll materials.
The compositing device PC—4 ( picture 2) is
designed for compositing colour images by parts with
simultaneous 5—times enlargement by initial spectral
large—format positives. The device can be used both
for mass production of colour composite images and
for individual interpretat ion and photorecording of
separate images.
